Classic design reinterpreted: LED pendant lamp Ambrosia 120 with SMD LEDs

The design of the tubular LED pendant lamp Ambrosia 120 was created by the design and architecture studio Ciszak Dalmas in cooperation with designer Joan Gaspar. It is based on the concept of the classic Linestra linear luminaire, which was originally only intended to be reworked. Thus, the design was initially created as part of an individual commission from a luxury boutique in Madrid. However, it quickly became apparent that the simple and functional design of the original luminaires still held a lot of visual potential.

As a result, Ambrosia became an aesthetic work of art, mainly due to its asymmetrical overall appearance, without depriving the design of its simplicity and functionality in the process. At the bottom of the frame, made of aluminum and bent at 90 degrees, the high-quality LED tube is exposed, which emits its warm white light through its opal white surface slightly diffuse and otherwise unobstructed. Thus Ambrosia, which owes its translated "food of the gods" significant name of Greek mythology, achieves a good and at the same time pleasant general lighting. The integrated LED driver, externally dimmable via Triac, is included and concealed in the color-coordinated canopy.
