Due to the spherical design and the easy-to-use suspension, the LED outdoor pendant lamp Bolleke by Fatboy is a stylish and modern light dispenser that can be used flexibly thanks to the integrated battery. The colored, creative loop made of silicone is designed so that the ball fits right through. This allows the bolleke to be hung virtually anywhere.
Once the battery is exhausted, it can be effortlessly recharged via the supplied USB cable. The opening for this is integrated into the upper attachment of the sphere. There opposite also sits the switch, via which the pendant light can be switched on and off. In addition, the light mode setting is made by pressing several times, in which you can choose from three different light settings (brightness levels) to be able to create an ideal ambience at any time.
The round diffuser with opal outer surface conjures a soft and uniform light in all directions. Thanks to the IP55 protection card, it is well protected against dust and water jets, which makes it the ideal light source for outdoor use - nevertheless, it can also provide atmospheric lighting indoors. The exterior has been made entirely of plastic, while the interior has been fitted with an aluminum base plate and LED housing. The colored loop is made of silicone rubber. The thoughtful and simple design of the LED ball light comes from designer Nathalie Schellekens, who founded the design studio Studio ONS in 2006.
In her designs, the designer always pays special attention to usability, details and timeless design. Nature, habits and shapes play a major role for Schellekens when designing products. Thus, with the Bolleke collection, she designed a lighting series that quickly became a bestseller. About her lighting series, the designer herself says: "I like that Bolleke is at home everywhere. It invites you to dream and experiment. I see Bolleke as a friendly and tough little character. I like to discover new ways together."
