Whether sweat in summer or cold feet in winter: A fan is worthwhile in both cases. While in summer it creates a cooling effect on the skin by running forward, in winter it distributes the warm air in the room by running backward - and saves up to 30% on heating costs.
Pay attention to these functions when selecting your product, as not all fans allow reverse operation. Discover our fans with flow and return in our shop.
Fans are connected to the power connection of a ceiling that can support the weight of the fan. There should be a height of at least 2.30 m between the floor and the fan.
Some ceiling fans are supplied with accessories for installation on a pitched roof. You can find out the maximum angle of inclination of the ceiling in the product details.
Observe further notes in the instructions supplied and allow your product to "run in" for at least 24 hours on a low setting.
Many fans are delivered with remote control or can be retrofitted with it. This enables control of all functions directly from the sofa or armchair, including of course the running speed (revolutions per minute) and the running direction.
As a rule, high-quality fans are always quiet. In the slower speed levels, you rarely hear anything, and in the faster levels you hear little more than wind noise. Many customers even use our fans in the bedroom.
In such a case, please ensure that you are not exposed to draughts overnight when you are lightly clothed and without a blanket. There is a risk of catching a cold here.
