Dimmable Chocolate LED task light from Artemide The appearance of the Chocolate office light is deliberately discreet, but the more innovation is behind the design. 108 micro-reflectors ensure glare-free illumination of the workplace and the light from the cool white LEDs supports concentrated daily work in the office or home office. Two switches on the pole allow the indirect and direct lighting to be controlled and dimmed separately in order to cater more specifically to the user's needs. The materials used also fit in with the clean lines of the design. The frame is made of lacquered aluminium, while the dimmable LEDs spotlight downwards and upwards behind an opal polycarbonate panel. The base is also designed to be very practical, as it is so thin that it can easily be slid under desk legs, saving valuable space. The office floor lamp was designed in Germany by a.g.Licht and has already been honoured with the Reddot design award 2008. The collaboration with the Italian designer-manufacturer also enables Chocolate to present itself internationally, as Artemide has already established itself as a brand worldwide.
