The Smart radiator thermostats can be installed on all standard radiators using the adapters supplied and replace conventional radiator thermostats. The Smart Radiator Thermostats communicate wirelessly with the separately available Extension Kit, which can further reduce energy consumption by accessing the main heating system, and with the Internet Bridge, which provides the Internet connection via a router. The tado° smartphone app enables active or automated remote control of the individual room temperature based on various information, such as the occupant's location, the weather forecast, window opening, a schedule or individual room control. The Ideal time for ventilation can be found based on data on outdoor air quality (e.g. pollen count). Siri, Amazon Echo and Google Assistant enable convenient voice control on site. IFTTT can be used in combination with other home automation elements to create event-based scenes.
