This function is based on a natural process: UVC radiation from sunlight converts the oxygen in the air into O3 (ozone). This principle also takes place in the Innes of Ozonos AC-1 Plus, where a special bulb uses UVC radiation to generate small amounts of ozone, which is emitted and enriches the room air over time. As this decomposes back into oxygen, a controlled equilibrium is achieved after a certain time. The strong oxidative effect of the ozone effectively reduces contamination with aerosols, bacteria, viruses and fungal spores as well as odorous substances and allergens. Thanks to its neutral external design as a single-coloured cylinder and its variable placement on shelves, tables, the floor, on walls (holder included) or on a Stativ (see accessories), the Ozonos AC-1 Plus Aircleaner can be used in almost any dry indoor area.
