Pendant lamp PH 3/3 with three-part shade of mouth-blown glassLike all the lamps of the series PH 3/3, this lamp is also characterized by the three-part shade. It consists of a white lacquered underside at the top and two smaller shades of mouth-blown opal glass underneath. This variant of the pendant lamp PH 3/3 is a new and limited edition of the series, which was originally designed by Poul Henningsen back in 1926. The combination of brass and opal glass makes it a classic beauty. Glare-free lighting with high light comfort, a soft diffused light throughout the room is ensured by the nature and arrangement of the three elements of the shade.Poul Henningsen drew the first models of the famous three-shade system already in 1924 in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. After the launch of the first PH lamp in 1927, he developed several other PH variants over the years, all of which became an overwhelming success. Louis Poulsen produces a limited edition reissue with this variant in brass and glass, which bears the initials of its creator discreetly engraved in the shade. The lamp never goes out of style. The untreated brass surfaces acquire a patina over time and can be carefully polished.
