Flindt LED wall light - elegant light source for indoor and outdoor use

The Flindt LED wall light completes the product series which the Danish designer Christian Flindt created for the lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. Its simple, elegant design blends perfectly into its surroundings during the day and at night. Flindt is in the form of a perfect circle and has a concave outlet at the top. Two LED bulbs produce a softly luminous ring of reflected light at the transition between the concave and convex shapes. Some of the light is emitted directly, whilst some of the light is emitted upwards and to the back, creating a half moon-shaped, indirect light component. 

The lighting effects produce an attractive, strong light output and an atmospheric, inviting ambience. The shape is slightly raised from the wall mount, making the wall light look as if it is floating. Flindt is the perfect choice for lighting in entrance areas, stairways and halls, as well as for the illumination of building façades.

The versatile lighting, interior and industrial designer Christian Flindt (born in 1972) has worked with the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen since 2006 and has already developed the Flindt 220 floor lamp, the Flindt 220 and 475 hanging lights, the Flindt bollard light and the LP Grand family.

The Louis Poulsen company was founded in 1874 and has adopted the Scandinavian design principle “form follows function”. Its lights are designed in such a way that every detail serves a specific purpose, and the function and design reflect and support the rhythm of natural light. The product range was created in collaboration with contemporary and deceased designers and architects, such as Poul Henningsen, Arne Jacobsen, Vilhelm Lauritzen, nendo/Oki Sato, Louise Campbell and many more.
