LED recessed luminaire IDOO.fit IFE 5000/VTL/D for biodynamic lighting

Biodynamic light that changes according to the time of day is provided by the IDOO.fit LED recessed luminaire. The panel for suspended ceilings with system dimensions of 62.5 x 62.5 cm illuminates offices or meeting rooms with direct light (86 %) and a small indirect component that changes according to the biorhythm during the course of the day.

VTL (Visual Timing Light) provides lighting that is coordinated with the "inner clock" of the human body and promotes concentration. The innovative light management system was developed in close cooperation with Prof. Dr. med. Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Plischke, Professor of Light and Health at Munich University of Applied Sciences. It brings the dynamics of natural daylight into the interior of the building and enhances the emotional and ergonomic aspects of lighting quality. The biodynamic light (Human Centric Lighting) can sustainably strengthen the well-being of employees, especially in offices with a low supply of daylight and in the winter months when the internal clock is hardly synchronised with daylight.

A real-time clock is integrated in the Net module with real-time control. A lithium battery ensures that the clock continues to run even in the event of a mains voltage failure and that all data is retained.

The appropriate light is emitted according to the time of day and the indirect and direct light quantity and light colour are varied automatically. All information required for operation is stored on the SD card; no commissioning or additional installation software is required.
