This pendant lamp is already a real eye-catcher when switched off: Veneria's shade is made of wide slats of cherry veneer, which alternate with slightly wider, narrower strips to create an elegant shape. The resulting play of light and shadow in combination with the light from the bulb puts the focus on the grain of the wood. Cherry is a reddish wood that combines very well with darker woods. Over time, it darkens a bit, but this is not a disadvantage; it makes the wood appear even warmer. Veneria is a natural product: the hanging lamp has differences in grain from luminaire to luminaire, which makes each Veneria unmistakably unique.
