Practical recessed floor light Tomaso with a pivotable spotlight
The recessed floor light Tomaso made of cast aluminium is characterised by a beautiful ring cover made of stainless steel and clear, stable security glass. The reflector made of super-purity aluminium with an anodised surface offers perfect light quality. The spotlight can ideally be pivoted up to 30°. If multiple recessed lights are used, the settings of different pivot directions creates a fascinating light composition. Additional effects are created by optional symmetric or asymmetric light distribution. Tomaso has a half-peak angle of 30°. This results in the following illumination features:
Distance 3 m: Cone Ø 1.81 m and light intensity 171 lux
Distance 2 m: Cone Ø 1.21 m and light intensity 385 lux
Distance 1 m: Cone Ø 0.60 m and light intensity 1541 lux.
The recessed light casing can be loaded with a weight up to 1 tonne. Tomaso withstands a high surface temperature of 120 °C and can therefore be used in areas that are very exposed to the sun in the summer. Water should not be allowed to accumulate on or inside the light (housing). Adhering to the instructions regarding the floor installation is therefore recommended: Prepare a drainage and a gravel bed for draining water. Tomaso can then be used for a long time.
