Traditional ship pendant lamp with a canvas shade
The shade of the pendant lamp Traditionsschiff is made of a used Dacron sail. As a sail on a ship, the fabric has already experienced a lot - high waves, roaring spray and stiff breezes. Now that the sail is retired, it finds another use here as a lampshade. The traces of use and the structure are preserved, so that each copy tells its own story. Decorative elements are the colored zigzag stitching and the small emblem with wool thread. With a cable in a textile sheath, the shade is attached to the canopy of powder-coated steel.
In cooperation with social projects, the pendant lamp is manufactured in Germany. And also with the packaging of the lights sustainability is written large. Regionally made from recycled material cartons and as a filler recycled paper are used.
