The elegant Tolomeo Basculante table lamp is a high-quality designer piece from Italy. It is a member of the award-winning Tolomeo light series from the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide and impresses with its sophisticated technology and timeless design. Flexible joints with a proven and sophisticated tension cord and spring balance system allow the table lamp to be extended as needed, in both height and reach. Up to 75 cm in height and a proud 108 cm in reach. The spring balance system ensures that the table lamp stays in the respective position and does not buckle.
The design and technology of the Tolomeo lights were designed and developed by architecture and design duo Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in the late 1980s. An immediate success, gradually more models were added so that today a wide range of products is available.
