A unique Bauhaus-style pendant light based on Marianne BRANDT's original design Another pendant light by the famous German designer Marianne Brandt, who designed this light in 1928/29 during the Bauhaus era, brings a piece of German history into the home. The visual highlight of this pendant light is the two-part opal glass globe, the upper half of which is etched matt and the lower half is glossy white. The opal glass globe is held in place by a metal canopy with a nickel finish, with the retaining screws visible. The supply cable between the ceiling canopy and the light is concealed in a nickel-plated metal rod and has a very Filigran appearance. The combination of the two halves of glass creates an impressive yet unique light that is not only functional but also creates a cosy atmosphere.
