The L 620 Cam SC is an outdoor wall light that not only provides lighting, but also surveillance in the outdoor area. Especially in the entrance area, it can become a helpful lighting element. Demand-oriented lighting is ensured by the integrated passive infrared sensor, which automatically switches the luminaire on when it detects movement. In addition to the response brightness, the light duration can also be set with four different values.

Another highlight is the integrated camera, which can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet using the Steinel app. If desired, push notifications can be sent to the smartphone as soon as the sensor detects movement. This further enables the use of the intercom system and the transmission of the camera image for audiovisual door communication. The image and voice data are transmitted via the WLAN. The memory card included in the scope of delivery ensures that all recordings are stored and can be retrieved later.
