The Veli pendant lamp exudes a feeling of lightness and a certain luxury through its decorative, exciting look. The exclusive, unique design immediately becomes an eye-catcher. A multitude of connectors made of Opalflex® are placed and bent by hand to get the fascinating shapes. The plastic, developed and patented by the Italian manufacturer Slamp itself, is a combination of technopolymers and glass crystals that are extremely flexible and completely unbreakable. The material has excellent thermal, electrical and chemical properties and proves to be particularly durable.

The richly textured surface provides an attractive light diffusion all around. The individual components refract the light and direct it in a specific direction depending on its orientation. Even when switched off, a feel-good atmosphere with the lightness of a cloud emanates from the pendant lamp, with the result that it can be used in many rooms and perfectly complements modern furnishing styles. The shade in white optics is harmoniously complemented by a cable, which connects it to the discreet round canopy on the ceiling. Thanks to a practical magnetic system, the shade can be quickly and easily removed from the suspension for cleaning.

Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and is based in Rome. Sustainability is a high priority for the designer lamp manufacturer, which is expressed in the in-house development of durable materials. This reduces environmental costs by a factor of four. Since 2020, the residues from processing are no longer just recycled, but donated to companies that manufacture nesting boxes for bumblebees. In addition, the components of the lights are manufactured by cold cutting, which produces no CO2 emissions.
