Sparkling like a crystal: Drusa designer ceiling light by Adriano Rachele Whether on the ceiling or the wall - the Drusa light is not only modelled on the form of a crystal, it also conjures up similar lighting effects. The Italian light manufacturer Slamp, which has been known for designer lights made in Italy since 1994, not only creates lights, but also special materials that combine the positive properties of plastic and Glas or crystal. The Lentiflex® used for the Drusa ceiling light changes its appearance and colour depending on the observation point and angle. Iridescent nuances can be created by the prism-like surface, and it is precisely this special surface - in combination with the Form - that makes the light look like a crystallised mineral. This also inspired the designers to give it its name. A druse is nothing more than a cavity in a rock whose walls are covered with crystallised minerals.
