A round, transparent shade in the shape of a ring encloses an opal diffuser, which also has a recess in the middle. The light of the permanently installed, warm white LEDs emerges from inside the ring and radiates directly downwards and also indirectly through the matt diffuser. When developing the LED ceiling lamp Curling, the designers Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf, the two founders of serien.lighting, did not lose sight of either the practical or the visual aspect. The result is a versatile all-rounder that can be used practically anywhere. Curling is often used in the living room and bedroom as well as in business premises or in public areas. With the outstanding energy-efficient and long-lasting COB LEDs, whose dimmability is possible via a phase-on or phase-off dimmer, Curling collects further plus points.

Curling's design as well as its functionality are characterized by such multilaterality that the ceiling light does not appear disturbing anywhere, but on the contrary, it fits frugally into the design concept of any room.
