Ideal for use in open luminaires, such as some modern pendant or table lamps, the LED globe lamp from the Philips Hue family offers white light in a wide variety of gradations in terms of color temperature and brightness. The E27 lamp is optionally controlled with the matching dimmer switch (see accessories), with which the light can also be dimmed in addition to switching on and off. More functions are offered by the smart options for control. A direct connection to the smartphone/tablet can be established via Bluetooth or the lamp can be integrated into the preferred smart home system via a ZigBee bridge.
