If the Padea is integrated into a Smart Home system, this opens up many more possibilities. It can also be conveniently controlled via smartphone. Paulmann presents the smik gateway as a Smart Home bridge, which can be purchased separately via the accessories. An App for Android and iOS is available free of charge. This is compatible with Amazon Alexa and therefore also enables voice control. Alternatively, it can also be used with ZigBee-compatible Smart Home systems from other manufacturers. With smart home hand-held transmitters, such as the Gent remote control from Paulmann, which is also available as an accessory, it can also be operated without a Bridge.
