It is made of stainless steel, can withstand loads of up to 500 kg when installed and is also protected against temporary submersion. Brick can be switched on and off using a switch on the underside. When switched on, the twilight sensor is active and automatically switches the light on at dusk or off as soon as the sun rises. The switch can also be set to "Mode". The motion detector is then also active. It reacts to movement within a radius of one metre and lights up Brick at 100% for 30 seconds as soon as movement is detected. Brick unfolds its full potential when integrated into a smart home system. The colour temperature can then also be adjusted, the brightness can be dimmed and everything can be conveniently controlled remotely via smartphone. The smik gateway is available separately via the accessories. It serves as a bridge, including a free app that is also compatible with Amazon ALS. The recessed floor light can be operated with two settings: at 100% or at 20% with a pleasant warm white colour temperature. This is outside the visible range of most insects so that they are not attracted. Alternatively, integration into ZigBee-enabled smart home systems from other providers is possible. ZigBee hand-held transmitters from Paulmann, with which intelligent light control is also possible without a bridge, are also available via the accessories.
