Indirect light from the Siro LED table lamp with two-dimensional optics

The round shade made of metal, which is shaped like a hemisphere, is enthroned on a discreet, matt black base. At the lower edge, placed in the middle, the table lamp Siro is provided with another metal, round element, which acts as a reflector and radiates the warm white light of the installed LEDs on the white lacquered inside of the shade. In this way, the light reaches the bright inner side and is emitted into the room without glare. The indirect lighting effect is mainly created by the round, small disc, through which Siro appears as if it consists of two two-dimensional elements that seem to be perfectly balanced on one surface.

The table lamp was designed by Marta Perla, who derived the name Siro from Sirius - the brightest white star in the night sky. It is said to reflect people's desire to find in celestial bodies a link between their own past and cosmic phenomena. Produced together with Oluce, this work of art takes on a timeless character that will inspire many generations. Oluce is one of the oldest, active designer lamp manufacturers in Italy and has been on the market for over 70 years.
