Three-legged Oslo Wood floor lamp - all in blackThe Oslo Wood floor lamp presents itself as a luminaire that clearly stands out from other floor lamps due to its gimbal-mounted shade, but can be harmonised with other leading lighting designs thanks to its streamlined, modern design. It is no coincidence that Oslo Wood bears its name. Its creator Ove Rogne was inspired to this design by the city trees of the Norwegian metropolis, which filter the urban light and thus illuminate the sky in the dark winter night. A floor lamp that already stands for Nordic home design when unlit and creates an incomparable atmosphere when the light is switched on.The built-in dimmer switch allows the individual regulation of the brightness.Ove Rogne, founder and CEO of Northern, graduated with a master's degree in economics and started a career in management consulting. His decision to work more creatively and his vision to make lighting design brighter led to the founding of Northern Lighting in 2005. In the meantime, the company has left its mark not only on luminaire design but also on home design and has been trading under the name Northern since 2018.
