The designer Mads Sætter-Lassen belongs to a new generation of Danish designers. He graduated from the renowned Design School of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and then studied. He follows an approach that combines elements of interior design with the principles of furniture construction, metalworking and ergonomics. He sees himself as an advocate of democratic design. His focus is on simplicity and functionality. This is reflected in his work - instead of unnecessarily embellishing it, he emphasises the beauty and integrity of materials.
