Adjustable suspension lamp Malamata with spherical shade of opal glass

Suspension lamp Malamata is composed of a slender, linear suspension and steel structure and a round diffuser of mouth-blown opal glass. The latter hangs down from a rod, on the opposite section of which is mounted a counterweight. This can be moved on the rod by means of a push button that releases a spring, allowing the position of the diffuser to be adjusted up and down.

The LED lamp to be used makes the glass sphere shine as an all-around luminous sphere, which immediately captivates the viewer and provides uniform illumination on all sides.

The pendant lamp Malamata received its name from the designers Kfir Schwalb and Orit Magia (Studio shulab), who come from Israel. Here they refer to the Hebrew meaning of "above" and "below", which is reflected in the alignability of the lamp. The Italian premium lighting manufacturer Luceplan is responsible for the production.
