Dimmable floor lamp Malamata with rotating and tilting arm

The floor lamp Malamata is equipped with a steel structure composed of a round base, a vertical stand and a horizontal arm. The latter holds at one end the spherical shade, which is made of mouth-blown opal glass and emits the light of the lamp to be used homogeneously on all sides. On the opposite section of the upper arm is a counterweight that can be released, moved and locked by push button and tension spring. With the positioning of the weight, the inclination of the arm can be flexibly adjusted; the latter can also be rotated 360°. An additional option for adjustment is provided by the dimmer switch on the cable.

The name Malamata refers to the Hebrew meaning of "above" and "below" and was chosen by Israeli designers Kfir Schwalb and Orit Magia (Studio shulab). The name perfectly reflects the design and functionality of the lamp. Its production is carried out by the Italian premium manufacturer Luceplan.
