In this pendant luminaire, the individual, oval, rounded, elongated metal segments are attached to the luminaire frame via a plug-in system, and together they form a shade that can pass for a radical reinterpretation of a classic lampshade. While it retains the familiar round shape and taper towards the top, the overall design appears new and unique. An optical tension results from a playful lightness in design and the solid, strong expression of the main material metal. This is known to be opaque, but the arrangement of the components nevertheless creates an attractive light image with charming effects, which sometimes also appear as beautiful plays of light and shadow in the room. The result is a pleasant, light ambient lighting that appears nice and cosy, and a good illumination of the useful surfaces that are illuminated in a bundled manner, so that the design-oriented pendant lamp is very well suited for illuminating table surfaces.
