Soft, glare-free accent lighting with the PH 3/2 designer table lamp

Its harmonious design will make the PH 3/2 table lamp an eye-catcher in any room. Whether it is used as additional lighting in the living area or on the bedside table, PH 3/2 creates a glare-free and warm lighting atmosphere thanks to its special lampshade. The colour combination of metallised brass and white makes it a decorative light fitting that fits into many different interior styles – both modern and classic.

The striking lampshade is made of three-layered opal glass and has a glossy finish on the top of the glass, whilst the inside surface of the glass has a matt sandblasted finish. Most of the light is emitted downwards. The classic triple lampshade system sits on a brass frame, which has an exclusive metal finish and underlines the elegance of the light.

The exclusive design originates from Poul Henningsen, a Danish designer, architect, writer, and journalist, who developed the first glare-free light as early as 1925. Until the end of his life, Henningsen worked with the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen in accordance with the Scandinavian principle of "form follows function". The design of the light was supposed to shape light and to provide a glare-free light for a positive atmosphere in the room.
