Robustly crafted path light PH 3-2 1/2 with triple shade
This path light is also a visual eye-catcher on the property when the light is not switched on. It is made of stainless steel and painted black. The shade was created after the triple shade system designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925/26. The three shade elements draped over each other create a homogeneous and glare-free lighting, because the reflective triple shade system directs the light directly downwards. To further optimise the reflection, the inner sides of the shade have been painted white.
If the luminaire is to be recessed into the ground, the ground anchors available as accessories are required for fastening.
Poul Henningen worked closely with the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen for decades until his death. The writer, journalist and architect soon put his professional focus on lighting design and created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen a series of world-famous lighting classics such as PH Artichoke, PH Snowball and PH 5.
