PH 2/1 pendant light – a classic that never loses its charm

The light emitted by the PH 2/1 pendant light with its three-part glass lampshade is as impressive as its appearance. The lampshades are made of hand-blown, opal, three-layered glass. The inside of the lampshades are matt and sandblasted, which results in soft, scattered lighting. The exterior shines in a glossy finish.

The design of the PH 2/1 pendant light dates back to a design by the renowned Danish designer Poul Henningsen in 1925/26. Henningsen was not just a light designer; he was also an architect, writer and journalist. But his main interest was in light and the best way to produce it. He produced pioneering work with regard the relationship between light structures, shadows, reflections and light rendering. He worked together with the Louis Poulsen company until his death in 1967.

A legendary light source that provides a decorative effect as well as glare-free, cosy lighting. It attractive timeless appeal can be combined with a wide range of interior styles.
