Louis Poulsen path lamp PH 3-2 1/2, black, 91 cm stainless steel

Robustly crafted path light PH 3-2 1/2 with triple shade This path light also acts as a visual eye-catcher on the property when the light is not switched on. It is made of stainless steel and painted black. The lampshade was created based on the triple shade system designed by Poul Henningsen back in 1925/26. The three shade elements draped on top of each other create homogeneous and glare-free lighting, as the reflective triple shade system directs the light straight downwards. The inner sides of the shade are painted white to further optimise the reflection. If the light is to be recessed into the floor, the floor anchors available as accessories are required for fastening. Poul Henningen worked closely with the Danish light manufacturer Louis Poulsen for decades until his death. The writer, journalist and architect soon focussed his career on lighting design and, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, created a series of world-famous classic luminaires such as PH Artichoke, PH Snowball and PH 5.
