This design table lamp from the house of Louis Poulsen with its subtle, architectural style and graphic look fits into many modern environments in private as well as business ambience. The shade is crafted from spun aluminum, the diffuser is made from injection-molded polycarbonate, the frame rod was made from aluminum and the base plate is made from die-cast aluminum with an iron core. The timeless design is by Jakob Lange of BIG Ideas. BIG Ideas is part of the design studio BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) and creates lighting ideas for modern living and working environments.

But Keglen has a lot to offer not only in terms of design, but also in terms of lighting technology: A switch is embedded in the base plate, which can be used to both activate and deactivate the dim-to-warm function. As soon as the function is activated, the light can be dimmed continuously. However, this not only changes the light brightness, but also the color temperature, i.e. the darker the light becomes, the warmer and at the same time cozier the color temperature appears. In addition, tapers have a memory function: once the brightness has been set, it is retained even after the luminaire is switched on again. When the dim-to-warm function is deactivated, the light shines with 100% luminous intensity.

The table lamp Keglen is produced by the Danish design product manufacturer Louis Poulsen. The maxim of the traditional company (founded in 1874) is the Scandinavian design principle "form follows function", where every detail of a design serves a specific purpose.
