The design table lamp Keglen from Louis Poulsen pleases with discreet, architectural style and graphic look. It thus fits into many modern environments in the private as well as in the business sector. The shade is made of spun aluminum, the diffuser of injection-molded polycarbonate and the frame of aluminum. This timeless light source was designed by Jakob Lange of BIG Ideas. BIG Ideas is part of the design studio BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) and creates lighting ideas for the modern living and working environment.

Keglen proves to be a highlight not only in terms of design, but also in terms of lighting technology: a switch is embedded in the base plate, which can be used to both activate and deactivate the dimming function. Once the function is activated, the light can be dimmed continuously and becomes warmer and warmer as the brightness decreases (dim-to-warm 2,700 - 2,200 K). There is also a memory function built in: The brightness set before the light was switched off is retained even after the light is switched back on. When the dimming function is deactivated, the light shines with 100% luminous intensity.

The table lamp Keglen is produced by the Danish design product manufacturer Louis Poulsen. The maxim of the traditional company (founded in 1874) is the Scandinavian design principle "form follows function", where every detail of a design serves a specific purpose.
