Black Jamelia desk lamp with vintage character All components of the Jamelia table lamp, which is mostly matt black, are made of steel and the light shines downwards, where it is focussed in such a way that the light is ideal for reading. The orientation of the lampshade can be adjusted using a joint so that the light is focussed where it is needed. The desk lamp is generally well suited to reading and, in contrast to the base and lampshade, which are black, the rod in the centre section is in shiny chrome. The light can be operated via a switch on the base and the flat, round metal lampshade has a special vintage character and is reminiscent of light sources from the middle of the last century, meaning that Jamelia can undoubtedly be categorised as a vintage light.
