Kushi XL - designer table lamp made of glass and metal
Functional lighting, harmonious optics and creative design come together in Kushi XL to create an elegant
table lamp. Its creators are Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella; their concept has been realised in collaboration with the Italian manufacturer Kundalini and its expertise in material and manufacturing techniques to create a flawless object.
The lampshade is made of handblown, double-layered opal glass. The light, which can be dimmed using an integrated dimmer, is particularly even and pleasant as a result. The frame, made of copper-coloured, shiny, lacquered metal, has a two-part structure. A circular, flat base supports a tall rod that seems to pierce the shade like a candied apple.
