The size of the pendant lamp É, which is equipped with an LED light source, makes it so flexible to use. For the illumination of smaller areas, it can be used as a single light, if a more extensive illumination is to take place, several can be used. Either hang them in a row and at the same height, for example above a counter, or group them and hang them at different heights, for example in a living area. The small, round shade of É consists of transparent polycarbonate and is slightly pleated.
The Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani created the lamp series É for the designer forge Kartell, which is located near Milan. Like all other designs from Kartell, this lamp is also made of plastic. Plastic in all its shapes and colours is the basic material of which the designer pieces are made of, with which Kartell became famous during the last decades. Some of the furniture and lamps by Kartell have become design classics and can be found in various modern museums.
