Designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2009, the design of the Cindy model is reminiscent of the typical table lamp of the 70s, which here appears in a new guise with metallic colors and completely made of plastic. The shimmering reflections and bold colors give the retro model a modern touch and an eye-catching appearance, making the table lamp not only a practical light source, but also an upbeat decorative object.
Italian design company Kartell is known for its innovative objects made of plastic. Since the 1950s, Italian and international designers have been developing plastic furniture, household items and lighting for the Noviglio-based company. Over the years, Kartell has not only received the odd award for this, but they have also built up an in-house museum to preserve and promote the company's heritage.
