With its eye-catching and seemingly solid details, the lamp reminds the observer of factory buildings from the last century, thus lending a room a tasteful retro chic touch. Especially in rooms of the industrial style the floor lamp forms a decorative light accent. But it is not only the design that is convincing, but also its technical features. The luminaire is equipped with joints that allow it to be swivelled 300° forwards and backwards. With the help of two turning mechanisms, the luminaire and the head can be turned on its own axis once, so that countless adjustment possibilities are available.
In 1952 Jean-Louis Domecq designed his first lamp "Standard" out of necessity and later launched it on the market under the company name Jieldé. This later became the Loft collection of lamps, which to this day is handcrafted in the factory near Lyon and continues to impress people all over the world with its characteristic design.
