Islet LED wall lamp with poetic lighting effect

Islet, or small island, is the name of the wall light by Finnish designer Mikko Laakkonen, which features a fine pattern in the front cover of the light. Small islands in the distance, reflected in the water, are supposed to represent the small openings. The small holes were created by cutting some of the material halfway and then bending it slightly. The light falls through the openings and is partially diffracted, sometimes it can escape directly. This creates a poetic lighting effect, which, when viewed from a distance, actually looks like a view of an archipelago glittering with reflections in the water.

The Islet wall and ceiling light can be dimmed using a separate push button. However this requires a 5 strand connection cable.
