I Ricchi Poveri Bzzzz - minimalist designer table lamp with blue dragonfly figure I Ricchi Poveri Bzzzz - an unusual name for an unusual light. A central trademark of Ingo Maurer's lights is the presence of the bulb, which he always deliberately places centre stage due to his special relationship with it. I Ricchi Poveri Bzzzz presents a 12 V LED bulb specially made for this light, which is enthroned on a thin brass rod. Attached to a filigree wire, a blue dragonfly made of anodised aluminium hovers above the traditional light bulb and seems to want to land on it in the next moment. A refinement that can only come from Ingo Maurer. Dragonflies are often equated with fairy-like creatures and are commonly associated with lightness, dynamism and flexibility. Nothing can disturb the unique beauty of this accessory in Maurer's eyes - not even a socket. At the lower end of the lamp base, where the bulb actually meets the socket, a red wire has been soldered on, which - wrapped loosely twice around the brass rod - leads down to the steel base plate, where it is supplied with power via a contact socket and thus lights up the traditional light bulb. A truly fascinating trick by Ingo Maurer, who has already won several awards for his unprecedented luminaire designs. I Ricchi Poveri is equipped with an electronic transformer including a sliding dimmer and is supplied with a low-voltage LED bulb.
