After graduating from the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Weisdorf worked in various fields, from the building trade to the amusement industry. From 1961 to 1971, he was the main assistant to Simon Henningsen, the chief architect of Copenhagen's Tivoli. From the late 1960s, he worked in his own Studio in Copenhagen, which he shared with the architect Ole Panton.
