Design table lamp Gräshoppa - a versatile light source with style

The appealing contrast between the coloured powder-coated shade and the brass frame of the Gräshoppa table lamp is both impressive and contemporary. The design, created by the Swede Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999), dates back to 1947. The designer, who lived in Europe and North America and whose focus was on industrial design, was considered a female pioneer in the design world, which had previously been dominated by men. Her designs for Gräshoppa and the table lamp Cobra are considered design icons.

With the Gräshoppa table lamp, the conically shaped metal shade can be turned. Thus the light direction can be changed at will.
