Industrial-style spot Kadiga with shade and frame made of concreteConcrete - you know it as a material that you can hardly get around when anything is in the process of construction. Once a structure is finished, you usually don't get to see it, unless a spot with exposed concrete is part of the architectural design concept. The fact that a luminaire has been made of concrete seems even more unusual, and has so little to do with the stereotypes that most of us have in our heads. However, the example of the spot Kadiga can be used to illustrate that the idea of mounting a luminaire made of concrete should not be immediately discarded, because it can look really good! Kadiga can be used for both ceiling mounting and wall mounting, and the compact concrete shade can be rotated and pivoted.
