Gerwina is a ceiling lamp that appears to be made for use indoors, where it provides a good illumination in the hall, a bedroom or living areas. The lampshade, which is open at the bottom, has a round and bulbous shape and a black finish on the outside, whilst the inner surface is gold-tinted. The contrast produces not only an attractive appearance, which has been right on trend for some time, but also a warm and cosy light, as the light is attractively reflected by the gold colour. The openness of the lampshade means that the light bulb is shown to particularly good advantage and should be chosen with care. Rustic or filament bulbs appear very authentic. They represent the look of a traditional light bulb and are now also available with especially warm luminous colours and efficient LED technology.
