The hallmark of the Tress family of lamps, designed by French industrial designer Marc Sadler, is the unusual appearance of its shade. The shade design, which catches the eye through the interplay of openings of different sizes and closed surfaces, is the result of a special production process, some of which is carried out by hand. Thin ribbons of fiberglass composite material are wound by hand in random composition onto a rotating cylinder and literally braided into a pigtail. Thanks to the slightly different composition of the ribbons from luminaire to luminaire, each individual luminaire in the Tress family acquires its own unique character.

Skillfully plays the LED pendant lamp Tress grande with light and shadow. Through the openings of the shade, it directs an atmospheric effect light to the outside, while at the same time providing the necessary basic lighting for the area under the luminaire. Tress grande uses modern, efficient LED lighting technology. Thus, it scores with a warm as well as bright illumination. The light intensity can be regulated via an external dimmer if required (On-Off/Push/DALI) to always provide the appropriate brightness for different situations.
