Tress is a designer floor lamp made of fibreglass composite material that was introduced into the product range of the world-famous lighting manufacturer Foscarini in 2008 and has since become a very popular, unique lighting sculpture. The characteristic cylindrical lampshade is created by wrapping a narrow strip of fibreglass around a cylinder and then hardening it with plastic resin. This leads to an interesting structure with a random pattern of fibreglass tapes and a playful and appealing lighting effect.

Two LED light sources inside the cylinder complement each other perfectly. One light source is concealed in the base of the light, whilst the other sits at the top of the diffuser. As soon as the warm white light is shone upwards into the diffuser an incomparable pattern of light is created on the floor and on the walls around it, as the light passes through the numerous openings between the fibreglass tape. The LED in the head of the diffuser enhances the lighting effect of the floor lamp with an indirect light directed towards the ceiling. Tress is a lighting object that embodies lightness and playfulness but also provides a clear presence.

The power cable comes with a dimmer for seamless dimming.
