If you look at this fantastic pendant lamp unlit, you can already guess that a sensual explosion of light is to be expected from it as soon as the light is switched on. The ambition of its creator, Dutch designer Tord Boontje, was to "bring the sun into the house". And he has succeeded in doing so magnificently. 390 metal struts with a gold-coloured finish are aligned from the centre to all sides, creating an opulent spherical shape. The struts shield the LED light coming from the core of the luminaire and reflect it in a fascinating way, creating a direct, glare-free light that shines in all directions. Light and shadow are attractively reflected in the surroundings.

In 2004, Tord Boontje began adding floral elements to modern design, such as Sun- Light of Love, in which you can discover the sun, a decorative flower or even a firework element. The imagination knows no bounds here. The Dutch designer, who now lives in France, has already worked for numerous renowned companies all over the world and created products in a wide range of fields, from lighting to furniture design.
