Foscarini Beep - 360° rotatable LED wall lamp

Beep is a LED wall lamp of simple elegance that has enriched the range of the Venetian lighting manufacturer Foscarini since 2019. The luminaire, which rotates 360° on its base, fascinates with its dynamism and changeability, while creating a characteristic lighting atmosphere that gives the impression of the luminaire floating in space.

A hemispherical diffuser made of translucent polycarbonate is covered by an aluminium disc, which is interrupted only by a small, decentralised hole. Inside the luminaire body is the LED light source, whose warm white light spreads out through the large diffuser over a large area around the luminaire. Meanwhile, through the opening in the diffuser, a bundled light shines outwards, providing an additional accent and giving the beep a certain dynamism. In this way, Beep provides a soft light that is both focused and indirect at the same time, which can be adjusted to requirements by turning the luminaire.

The designer couple Ludovica + Roberto Palomba have been designing products for over 25 years, always following a philosophical approach. Their designs find a good middle ground between overloaded decoration and radical minimalism. Beep thus fits perfectly into the series of her designs.
