Pendant lamp Parrot XL with handmade shade of rattan and abacá
The expansive pendant lamp Parrot XL is wonderful for lighting large dining or living room tables. The handmade shade is composed of individual ropes, which are colored differently and thus produce a special pattern. This design makes the lamp an attractive eye-catcher in the living area. The black textile cable and the metal canopy, also in black, complete the overall look of Parrot XL. Inside the shade is the bulb holder, which is surrounded by a small, separate diffuser. This ensures that the light can reach the outside without glare.
The design of the lamp goes back to the product designer Jette Scheib, who is mainly inspired by nature, organic shapes and everyday life of people. Since 2018, she has been mainly engaged in interior and lighting design. The renowned French luminaire manufacturer Forestier, which places a lot of emphasis on the topic of sustainability, is responsible for the production.
