The light is like a lantern with three different sized domes hanging from a curved bar that offers a clear view of the inserted light bulb through the airy and light metal wires. The distinctive feature of this Papillon light is the curved edges of the dome that create beautiful geometric shapes in the style of the 1950s. The round base of the light is suitable for placing small objects on to be lit directly by the light. Another small, stylish detail is the textile-clad cable with a built-in switch to switch it on and off.
Élise Fouin is a young designer who focuses on the material itself and puts the object somewhat in the background. She uses recycled materials as raw materials and reinvents them for more efficient uses. A poetic spirit and a commitment to sustainable development underpin every light.
